Directions

From the South East :- Access A303. Take the turn off at Stonehenge A344 therefore passing Stonehenge on the left. A344>A360 just after the village of Shrewton take a left fork marked B390 Chitterne , continue to the end, T junction with the A36 turn right signed to Warminster. Stay on the A36 round Warminster, following signs for Bath . Stay on A36 passing through Standerwick and at the next R/about take the first exit signed A361 Shepton Mallet, at the next R/about take second exit signed B3090 Town Centre. After entering 30mph limit observe sign for A362 Radstock (third right) take this right turn passing ‘The Ship' public house on your left, follow this road to the end and at the ‘T' junction turn left, follow road up the hill and the entrance to the cottages is on the right just before entering 30mph limit, there is a sign ‘Old Vallis House' to the right of the entrance.

From the North A46 Bath approach:- From the A46 take the left filter for Bath, take the left lane on the approach to the lights, DO NOT TURN RIGHT TOWARDS BATH. Turn left at lights follow road for about four hundred yards and look for right turn just after the Wagon and Horses Public House. Take this turn and at small Toll Gate pay and follow road over bridges and look for sign to A36. At the T junction turn left on A36 signed Warminster, follow on A36 through the village of Woolverton at the next r/about take second exit (A36) on to short dual carriageway, at the next r/about take the third exit signed A361 Shepton Mallet, at the next r/about take second exit signed B3090 Town Centre. After entering 30mph limit observe sign for A362 Radstock (third right) take this right turn passing ‘The Ship' public house on your left, follow this road to the end and at the ‘T' junction turn left, follow road up the hill and the entrance to the cottages is on the right just before entering 30mph limit, it is signed to the right of the entrance ‘Old Vallis House'.
